As a non-profit organization, the Workhouse Theatre Company relies on volunteers in every aspect of production. You need not have acted or worked on a play to volunteer for WTC. Live theater production involves many diverse talents. You already possess highly sought after skills and you probably don’t even know it.

Some of the ways that you can volunteer include:

  • Audition for a role
  • Stage manage a show
  • Work on the running crew or backstage
  • Try your hand at scenic design
  • Help build or paint a set
  • Design lights for a show
  • Help set-up and run the lights
  • Become a costume designer
  • Help find or sew costumes
  • Be the sound designer
  • Help set-up and run the sound
  • Be the props master
  • Help find and build props
  • Be a house manager
  • Manage or work our growing box office
  • Usher at a show
  • Be a publicity manager
  • Help organize publicity
  • Host an opening night reception
  • Organize a cast party for a show
